I have ventured into a new journey. It is 2 years long Mindfulness Meditation Teachers Training lead by Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. Jack Kornfield is one of the key teachers to introduce Buddhist mindfulness practices to the West. He is a former monk, a writer, and a dharma teacher. Tara Brach is another renowned teacher of mindfulness meditation. It’s really a privilege to be able to join this program lead by Jack and Tara.
I have two objectives for taking this training. The first is to deepen my mindfulness practice, and the second is to be able to share the precious gift of mindfulness with others around me.
In February, I attended an opening retreat in Maryland. The retreat was an opportunity to hear Jack and Tara as well as meet my direct mentor Klia Bassing. The retreat was a fantastic experience away from my corporate life and meeting with hundreds of friends taking similar path. It was like homecoming for me. As things progress, I will share my experience with you all. Thank you and stay tuned.
