Millions of parents like my wife, I, and their children are forced to stay home due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Many data suggest that domestic violence is increasing all over the world. We need to be mindful of parent burnout, which is another side effect of long-term lockdown and school closer. We need to take a pause. We need to develop compassion for ourselves and our children. We need to practice loving-kindness for ourselves and our children. We need to cultivate equanimity within our hearts and mind for balanced, grounded and centered parenting. From time to time, we need to bringing awareness to our breath and body. Mindfulness meditation surely helps us in mindful parenting.
